Trust Policy on Donations
In full compliance with the above legal provisions, our Trust currently accepts donations only from Indian bank accounts. Any funds received from foreign bank accounts, overseas remittances, NRI accounts, or foreign nationals are classified as foreign contributions under FCRA. Since our Trust does not presently hold FCRA registration or prior permission, accepting such funds would constitute a violation of Indian law. Therefore, as a matter of policy and legal compliance, the Trust does not accept donations from foreign sources.
Commitment to Legal and Ethical Compliance
This policy reflects our Trust’s strong commitment to operating in a lawful, transparent, and accountable manner. By restricting donations to Indian sources only, we ensure adherence to statutory requirements and safeguard the Trust, its trustees, and donors from any legal or regulatory consequences. Donors are kindly requested to ensure that all contributions are made exclusively from Indian bank accounts, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Why We Are Not Accepting FCRA / Foreign Donations
At present, our Trust does not hold registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). As per Indian law, organizations without valid FCRA registration or prior permission are not permitted to receive funds from foreign sources. In order to strictly comply with statutory requirements and to ensure transparent and lawful operations, we accept donations only from Indian bank accounts and do not accept foreign or FCRA-regulated contributions at this time.
